Estimate total recording lenght to the nearest whole minute (e.g. 6, 123 etc.). The final invoice will reflect the actual minutes & seconds of recording we transcribe. If there is a large difference between the estimated length and the real length we will stop work, and contact you.

Poor quality recordings need more time to help create a better quality transcript, hence the higher rates. Some passages may remain undecipherable despite our best efforts. These moments will be timestamped to aid review.

Time codes are inserted each time the speaker changes (interviews), or every 60 seconds (monologues or groups).

Standard "intelligent" Verbatim: concise, more like a written English. Most common.
Strict Verbatim: captures more spoken language - includes minimal responses, ums, ers, repetition etc. Mostly used only in certain types of research.
